We are looking to expand our team at AUR! Currently there are openings for highly motivated and technically competent individuals for the following positions:
Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer
A candidate is sought to carry out design-motivated computational fluid analyses of highly vortical incompressible flows with separation. The successful candidate should have no less than 2 years experience applying RANS-based computational fluid dynamics to turbulent flow problems, and possess a strong respect for validation of results. Experience with modifying turbulence models at the code-level is essential, and experience interfacing CFD for optimization is highly desired.
Instrumentation Engineer
An individual with experience in applying measurement techniques to wind tunnel testing is needed to assist in developing cutting-edge optical flow measurement techniques. The candidate should possess a strong background in instrumentation fundamentals including basic electronics, optics, and signal processing, in addition to a firm understanding of the fundamentals of high Reynolds number flow physics.
Manufacturing Engineer
A candidate is sought to support the composite manufacturing capabilities of AUR. The successful applicant will have at least 5 years experience in robust fiberglass mold construction and must be able to interface with outside contractors to procure custom parts in an efficient manner.
